I wondered in an earlier post if the alphanumeric codes on Juul pod boxes were a date stamp of some sort. It looks like they are. If you get duplicate codes on your pods, it doesn’t mean they’re clones or fake in any way. Those aren’t serial numbers. They’re batch numbers.
The numeric section is almost certainly is the date of manufacture. I recently made two large purchases, on March 28 and on May 28. Looking at the boxes from each of these, it looks like the first batch was produced on March 11, while the second batch was made on May 15.
In the photo below, you can see the same number on multiple packs, as well as on the blister card and on the underside of the display carton.
They’re not always 6 characters, or even 8. The alpha suffix looks like it can be any length. Mine were all 7 characters in length.

Also, the blister packs in a previous post looked a lot like previous packs I’ve purchased. The “fuzzy” edges on the backing paper are similar to what I remember before the newer silver/white backing. It’s likely that Pax is running multiple production lines as they increase their production capacity. The old lines are still cranking out what they used to, and the new lines are making the newer blister packs. I suppose it’s also possible that some cloners mimicked the old style and haven’t caught up to the new style. Unfortunately there’s no unique serial numbers on these, so it’s hard to investigate.
