After getting everything running and installed I noticed the USB 3.0 ports not working correctly. As a n00b to the field, I googled and researched what might be the problem. I went to the BIOS and made sure it was enabled. I went to the device manager, uninstalled, and reinstalled the ports. Initially, I loaded the drives from the CD, but I downloaded the drivers from the website and I'm getting a funky message about the hardware not being available, but I'm able to run some of the other driver applications with no problem. So I'm officially stumped.
The funny thing about it all, it will charge my phone and other devices if its connected to the port, but will not recognize the device. Again, to make sure I didn't lose anyone in the wall of text. I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P mobo. My USB 3.0 is enabled in BIOS and Device Manager recognizes the ports because there are only three. I uploaded the drivers from the CD. Downloaded the drivers and ran them, but the app will not work. What the muff should I do next? Thank you in advance. |
